Angelina Tereshchenko — Music Educator, Violinist & Pianist
Angelina Tereshchenko is a versatile music educator, pianist, violinist, conductor, arranger, and composer whose work reflects a deep commitment to musical excellence, pedagogy, and community engagement. With a foundation in both performance and music education, she brings a broad and multifaceted perspective to her work with students, ensembles, churches, and community organizations.
Angelina received her formal musical training in Ukraine at the Kryvyi Rih Regional Professional Music College, where she studied piano, violin, and conducting. This comprehensive training provided her with a strong foundation in performance, musicianship, ensemble leadership, and conducting, and continues to inform her work as a performer, educator, accompanist, arranger, and conductor.
As a violinist and pedagogue, Angelina studied with Miodrag Veselinovic and completed specialized training through the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) Violin Pedagogy Course, Elizabeth Faidley’s pedagogy courses, and Wee Violin training for young beginners and pre-twinklers.
Her work as a pianist and piano educator was further shaped by studies with Dr. Ross Salvosa, along with pedagogy training at the Gorin Institute and university-level certification in group piano instruction. Her teaching approach blends strong technical foundations with creativity, encouragement, and an understanding of how children and beginners learn best.
Throughout her career, Angelina has cultivated a dynamic musical community through teaching, ensemble leadership, church music, and mentorship. She founded and directed a church youth symphony, led a combined chamber orchestra of Slavic churches throughout the Pacific Northwest, and accompanied numerous choirs and vocal ensembles. Her work reflects a rare ability to bring musicians of different ages, backgrounds, and levels of experience together through a shared love of music.
As an arranger and composer, Angelina has written music for church musicians, vocal groups, and choirs, bringing together her gifts as a performer, educator, and creative musician. Her commitment to music as a source of connection and hope has also reached international communities. In Ukraine, she helped establish and develop a choir for orphaned children, creating a space where young people could experience belonging, expression, and the transformative power of music.

Whether teaching, performing, conducting, accompanying, or creating new arrangements, she brings together rigorous musical training, pedagogical experience, and a genuine passion for helping musicians discover their potential.
